A 31-year-old man has appeared in court accused of murdering Cardiff pensioner Peter Lewis.
William Jones, 31, of Adamsdown, Cardiff, was remanded in custody after a brief hearing at Cardiff Magistrates Court.
He spoke only to confirm his name and address. He will appear at Cardiff Crown Court on May 8th.
Mr Lewis' neighbours described him as a mild-mannered and harmless member of the community.
