Police appeal for witness in Peter Lewis investigation

South Wales Police has issued an appeal to identify a man who they believe may have information relating to the murder of a Cardiff pensioner.

68-year-old Peter Lewis, who had learning difficulties, was found with a stab wound in the hallway of his flat on Claude Road, Roath on April 28th.

The man police want to speak to was seen in the Charles Street area of between 3.20 am and 4.30 am that day.

A police spokesperson stressed that the man is not suspected of any crime, and would simply be treated as a witness.
