Police seek witnesses over theft of 4-year-old's charity cash

Dyfed Powys Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of £500 in cash from a home in the Mount Estate, Milford Haven.

The theft occurred in Larch Road between 12:30pm and 5:30pm on Tuesday 18th September 2012.

Detective Geoff Asson said “This is a particularly despicable theft as the money taken was raised to help a four year-old girl who suffers with a severe condition. “

Brooke Keesmaat suffers from Ectodermal dysplasia, which causes baldness. The £500 stolen was intended to purchase a custom made wig for Brooke.

It’s upsetting to think that someone has been in our home, but it’s more upsetting that this money was raised to help Brooke have a better quality of life.

As she gets older, her appearance is important to her, this wig would have changed her life, we are devastated

– Kirsty, Brooke Keesmaat's mother
