Police appeal following sexual assault

North Wales Police are appealing for information following a sexual assault on teenage girl in Wrexham.

Police say the girl was walking in the Pandy estate area of Wrexham around 6pm yesterday, when she was approached on the Pandy footbridge and assaulted.

It is believed that she had been followed from the Chester Road area. The offender is described as male, about 5’7” tall and wearing dark clothes and a hat or a hood.

He ran off back over the bridge towards the general direction of Ty Gwyn Lane.
