Malky Mackay's future as Cardiff City manager looks secure for the time being but he said he expected to be sacked at the weekend following an ultimatum from Bluebirds' owner Vincent Tan.
Cardiff City assistant manager David Kerslake faced the media in a tense press conference this morning, standing in for Malky Mackay who was due to appear.
He repeatedly refused to answer questions about Mackay's future, revealing only "Malky is in the pavilion" [at the training ground], and, when asked if Mackay will still be in charge tomorrow against Liverpool, "nobody has said anything different to me."
