Michael Laudrup says he has sought legal advice over his sacking. Swansea City's chairman said: "It is a decision we have taken reluctantly."

'Laudrup had lost the club, the players and the crowd'

Swansea City historian Peter Stead has told ITV News he is "not at all surprised" at Laudrup's departure.

"The last few performances have been awful - especially the away performances," he said.

"But over and above that, you could sense in the games that [Laudrup] had lost the club. He'd lost the players, he'd lost the crowd."
