Gavin Henson handed debut for new club Bristol

Former Wales star Gavin Henson has been handed a debut for his new club Bristol this weekend in English rugby's second tier.

The 33-year-old was due to join Championship side Bristol at the end of the season, but was released by Premiership club Bath early, having not been picked since November.

Henson toured with the British Lions in 2005, after playing a leading role in Wales' Grand Slam that year, but the last of his 33 international caps came back in 2011.

He is due to line up at inside centre for Sunday's game against Moseley.
