A boy has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after an incident in the water in Cardiff Bay.
The Ambulance Service said it was called just after 1.45pm this afternoon near the river in Butetown, Cardiff.
An eyewitness has told ITV News a group of people were seen jumping into the water near Stuart Street.
Police were also in attendance.
“We responded with a Rapid Response Vehicle, an Emergency Ambulance and a High Dependency Unit vehicle and a young male adult has been conveyed to the University of Wales Hospital in a serious condition.”
Rain clipping the far north through the evening but elsewhere staying dry with some sunny spells.
Public Health Wales figures show 25 more cases of the virus have also been confirmed.
