Gordon was nominated by Aberavon MP Stephen Kinnock to represent his constituency and his pub having reached the finals in the national competition that received over 120 entries from MP’s across the country.

Nominations were received from MPs around the country, selecting a pub chef from within their constituency as Pub Chef orYoung Pub Chef in the awards.

I am delighted that Gordon made it to the Pub Chef of the year final and it was great to see him in Westminster. Gordon’s culinary skills, the Brit pub atmosphere along with the fine wines and great beers make it an absolute must. As my local pub I was pleased to nominate Gordon because both he and the Brit Pub deserves the recognition.

– Stephen Kinnock, MP
