Winds reach 94mph as Storm Doris batters Wales

800 homes are without power in North Wales tonight, with the majority in Anglesey, after storm Doris swept across Wales yesterday.

Scottish Power Energy Networks said they had hoped to restore power to all properties by 5pm today.

Thousands without power as Storm Doris batters Wales

Scottish Power says thousands of customers across north Wales are currently without power after cables were blown down by Storm Doris.

It says the situation is "fluctuating" but engineers are currently working to restore connections.

Anglesey has been particularly affected with many business saying they have had to close.
