Police appeal for witnesses after armed robbery in Swansea

Police are appealing for witnesses after an armed robbery at a betting shop in Swansea.

The incident happened on Townhill Road at about 7.55pm on Saturday evening.

Two men entered the shop and threatened staff with a claw hammer and stole around £5,000 in cash.

South Wales Police said there were two customers in the shop at the time and they are keen to speak to them or to anyone who may have been in or around the premises at the time.
