Newlywed chauffeur and businessmen named as Bath lorry crash victims

A newlywed chauffeur and the two businessmen he was picking up have been named as victims of the Bath lorry crash.

Executive taxi driver Stephen Vaughan, 34, was collecting the two businessmen to drive them home to Wales when the 32-tonne tipper truck hit his car.

His passengers were Swansea father-of-two Phil Allen, 52, a director of electricity company Western Power, and a 59-year-old colleague from Gwent who has not yet been named.

Four-year-old Mitzi Rosanna Steady was also killed in the collision while walking with her grandmother yesterday afternoon. Her grandmother remains in critical condition at Southmead Hospital.
