Bid to find 250 meals for Newquay families in 'Foodbank Friday'

Newquay Foodbank wants to make sure people don't go without over Easter and beyond

Police and pubs in Newquay are working together to promote Foodbank Friday in a bid to provide 250 meals for needy families.

Six pubs and bars in the town are taking part. Neighbourhood police officers regularly supply vouchers so people can get supplies from the Newquay Foodbank.

The organisation says it needs 900 meals a month to keep up with demand.
