A plane carrying former Bath Rugby star Lewis Moody was forced to make an emergency landing in the Arctic.
The former England rugby captain is currently taking part in a trek to the North Pole. But the pilot carrying him and the rest of the team to the start of their walk was forced to make an emergency landing over the weekend due to poor visibility. It was a bumpy landing and the plane lost its landing gear, but no one was hurt.
The team of Yacht Company Directors, England rugby players and Royal Marines want to raise £250,000 for two charities: the Lewis Moody Foundation and the Royal Marines Charitable Trust. You can keep up to date with their progress here.
