Caught on camera - it's a game of cat and mouse

A Somerset photographer has captured a series of incredible images revealing a game of cat and mouse - much like the real life cartoon duo Tom and Jerry.

The age-old rivalry was born out on a shed roof top, but sadly, as is natures way, it rarely ends well for one party.

The striking pictures illustrate the perils the tiny rodents face in the town as the puss flings it from paw to paw.

Ironically the black and white moggy's name is 'Mouse', but that's where all similarities end.

The pictures were taken by the cat's owner Jason Bryant in Shepton Mallet, who confirmed the inevitable outcome of the encounter.
