A man from Gloucester has become the first person in history to have swum the length of the Severn.
32-year-old Kevin Brady has battled hypothermic water, sharp debris, treacherous undercurrents, parasites, pollution and large boat traffic, swimming more than 10 miles a day - and raising more than £11,000 for the Superhero Foundation.
Watch the amazing moment earlier tonight when he got to the shore to rapturous applause - and yes, you heard that correctly - the first thing he asked for was his mum and dad!
Kevin told us the first thing he wants to do is have a few beers and a much-needed bath.
See the lovely moment he reunited with his mum.
Kevin's achievement has already raised over £11,000 for the , a charity he co-founded with cousin and fellow fundraising adventurer Jamie McDonald. The charity assists families that need funds to access otherwise inaccessible treatments for mental or physical illness.
