Tributes are being paid to a father and son from Swindon who died in a whale watching tragedy in Canada. David Thomas and his son Stephen were among five British nationals who drowned.
18 year old Stephen has downs syndrome and the family was closely involved with the local Down Syndrome Group. Carol Boys from the Down's Syndrome Association says she is "devastated".
Meanwhile it's been revealed most of the passengers that sank on a whale-watching boat that sank in Canada were on one side of a boat when a freak wave hit, investigators have said.
It has also emerged that none of those who died was wearing a life jacket although plenty were available.
