An 87 year old man is having trouble getting carers to come into his home - because it's said to be haunted by up to twenty ghosts.
John Humphries owns the ancient Ram Inn at Wotton-under-Edge in Gloucestershire. It's become known as one of the most haunted places in the country.

The ancient inn is mentioned in the Domesday Book and is said to be built on an old pagan burial site.
The Bishop's Room is apparently the most haunted place in the building. John Humphries himself won't spend a night in there, and always knocks before entering.

John recently broke his leg and needs day to day help, which his daughter Caroline Humphries pays for. But she's had trouble persuading carers to visit after dark.
Now they've come to an agreement: they'll come, but only in pairs.
Whether you believe in ghosts or not, the hauntings have certainly been good for business. The inn is a magnet for ghost hunters, so much so that the family rents it out to visiting groups of paranormal investigators.
But Caroline - who is too scared to actually live at the Inn - says the frightening atmosphere is very real.
