Traders on Bristol's Park Street have called on landlords to consider the impact of the rents they charge following the latest closure.

Goldbrick House - a popular restaurant and bar - shut its doors at the weekend.

This is just one of a number of empty shopfronts on Park Street, despite it being a busy road - linking the centre to the bars and restaurants in Clifton Triangle.

With the University at the top of the hill and the Harbourside at the bottom it's a prime location for businesses, but there have been a number of recent closures.

But not all residents are concerned.

Goldbrick House shut over the weekend after a decade trading.

It's been a feature on Park Street for years, but the seemingly popular restaurant has become the latest business to close it's doors, leaving some to question whether Park Street can retain it's appeal.

The owner of independent design store and cafe 'Bristol Guild' is calling on landlords to charge shop front businesses less rent and make it back on renting out the upper levels for other purposes.
