Ornamental poppy theft: police release CCTV image after 12 poppies stolen from market town clock-tower

Police in Gloucestershire have released a CCTV image after a set of ornamental poppies were stolen ahead of Remembrance Day.

The incident happened in the market town of Coleford between 11am and 1pm on Saturday November 5.

Police believe 12 ornamental poppies - some of which can be seen on the fence at the back of the above picture - were taken from the Clock Tower.

Police say they are eager to speak to the three people in the picture in connection with the theft.

Anyone who recognises them should call police on 101 quoting incident 255 of 5 November or report information online.
