Speaking to ITV News, the MP who shoots in the local area, is now looking into why it takes 4 months to renew a licence.
People are very careful, we're responsible. We have to be. You do as you rightly said you must never underestimate, this is why when things happen and you get it wrong like I did you deal with it immediately.
Mr Liddell-Grainger said the 16-week timeframe to renew a licence is unacceptable.
The Conservative MP previously attacked the same police force in June when he called for Chief Constable Andy Marsh to be suspended.
