Mince pies are a staple of the festive season - but how would you like one that's delivered with a difference?
Meet Bertie the Blue-nosed reindeer. He's a larger than life, paper mache mechanical creature that sends mince pies flying from his rear!
Yes, you heard it right - press down his ears and you'll be greeted with all the tastiness of the season.
Bertie was created by Kate Barrington, an Age UK Somerset member, as a novel way to draw in passers by during their Local Charities Day.
The event will celebrate the work they do, as well as raising awareness of the issue of older people staying warm and well during the winter months.
It takes place in Taunton Town Centre on December 16.
It's hoped people will be curious enough about Bertie to come over and say hello and learn about the services that they offer.
And of course, there's always the promise of a mince pie!
Bertie can be seen outside of the Market House in Taunton Town Centre between 10.30am and 2.30pm.
After the event he is being sold by auction on eBay with all proceeds going to Age UK Somerset.
