A Devon man, who was shot in the head in Antigua on Christmas Day will be flown home tomorrow. Chris Tester from Torquay was shot at his parents restaurant on the Caribbean island. It's believed he was trying to protect his mother from an intruder who was attempting to rob them.
Chris underwent surgery on his left eye in hospital on the French island of Guadeloupe three days ago to help prevent any infection and to stabilise him for his return to the UK.
It is understood that Chris' father will accompany him in the air ambulance which is due to fly into the UK on 2nd January.
Nearly £98,000 was raised by family and friends through a Crowdfunding site to help pay for his return and ongoing specialist treatment.
