A man, who was shot in the head in Antigua on Christmas Day, has been flown back to Devon thanks to a £100,000 fundraising campaign.
Chris Tester from Torquay was shot at his parents restaurant on the Caribbean island. It's believed he was trying to protect his mother from an intruder who was attempting to rob them.
Chris underwent surgery on his left eye in hospital on the French island of Guadeloupe to help prevent any infection and to stabilise him for his return home.
A Crowdfunding page raised more than £100,000 which helped pay for an air ambulance to fly Chris back to the UK. He's now being treated at Derriford hospital in Plymouth.
