The applications have just opened for this years ITV News Traineeship.
ITV News is offering you the opportunity to join our national and regional news teams as a trainee journalist learning all the skills you need to work in one of our newsrooms.
We are looking for 12 talented recruits, seven of whom will work in one of our English Regional newsrooms in ITV Anglia (Norwich); ITV Central (Birmingham); ITV Granada (Media City, Salford); ITV Meridian (Whiteley, near Southampton); ITV Tyne Tees & Border (Gateshead); ITV West Country (Bristol); or ITV Yorkshire (Leeds).
Two trainees will be based in our national newsrooms one for ITV Cymru Wales in Cardiff and the other for UTV in Belfast. Two trainees will be working in our Network newsroom based in London, and in addition, we have an opportunity for one trainee at ITV Channel (St Helier).

Eligibility: Applicants should be over the age of 18 by 1 October 2017 and have the commitment and enthusiasm to work for ITV News.
We are particularly interested in people who have committed themselves to a career in journalism, either through their writing, their work experience or their career to date, as well as those people with an interest in journalism who are looking for a career change.
