Rock giants the Foo Fighters are expected to play at a small venue in Somerset tonight amid speculation they'll be Glastonbury headliners. It appears the American band - more used to filling stadiums - will be appearing at the Cheese and Grain in Frome, which has a capacity of just 500.

Two days ago the group posted a website titled Obelisk Airlines, with a countdown set into an airline seatback screen saying 'in flight entertainment to begin at 7.45pm on Friday evening'.

Members of the Foo Fighters fan club were sent 'boarding passes' earlier this week, followed yesterday by further details in the form of an invitation to the Cheese and Grain in Frome tonight. Venue organisers are remaining tight-lipped about the occasion, but have warned people without tickets that they won't get in.
