A baker from Canada has won a top title at the World Pasty Championships at the Eden Project.

Gerry Ramier who runs a bakery near Niagara Falls with his wife, was victorious in the hotly-contested Cornish Pasty Professional class. It was the first time he'd entered the competition.

He was taught to make pasties by his mother who lives in Redruth.
