Bristol has topped the list of the best places to live in Britain, according tothe Sunday Times Best Places To Live Guide 2017.
The South West city was revealed as the most desirable location in all ofBritain in the second instalment of the guide on Sunday, beating off "stiffcompetition" from the capital and other major UK destinations.
The guide praised Bristol for it's location, culture and food. It says it "feels like a big city, handily placed for seaside and scenery, but hardly cut off from the rest of the country."
The Guide also says there are plenty of jobs and many of them are glamorous, creative, hi-tech and professional. The food and drink are highly rated and the guide says there is all the culture you could wish for.
Falmouth also won the reader vote to rank the Sunday Times Best Places top 20 perennials. This celebrates the places that have that have appeared in almost every list over the past five years.
The Guide highlights "Falmouth's vibrant, arty atmosphere...the selection of great pubs and bars...and it's unrivalled access to some of the choicest bits of the Cornish coast."
