Have you seen Jeremy?

Police are urging for the public's help to find a stolen pony.

Jeremy is a charity pony believed to be stolen from a field near Bude. He went missing from the field in the Morwenstow area last weekend.

He disappeared without a trace, and doesn't like to leave the field unless he is with a person.

Jeremy belongs to people4ponies, an equine charity based in Devon specialising in helping wild and traumatised ponies.

His owners are desperate to have him home and have been carrying out searches of the surrounding area.

He is an Exmoor-cross bay gelding described as approximately 12 hands high and light brown in colour.

The owners are desperately upset by the loss of Jeremy and are extremely concerned for his welfare.

He may be missing but the presumption at this time is that he has been stolen.

We would urge anyone who has information about the theft or knows of his whereabouts to come forward. We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered him for sale
