More than 13,000 tickets sold for Exeter City Wembley clash

More than 13,000 Exeter City fans will head to Wembley this weekend to watch their side take on Blackpool in the play-off final.

Tens of thousands of Grecians supporters bought tickets when they went on sale this morning.

The Grecians booked their place in the final thanks a dramatic injury-time winner from Jack Stacey, which gave them a 6-5 aggregate victory overCarlisle United.

That win will see an Exeter City, Blackpool clash at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 28 May, both teams battling for a place in League One. Demand for tickets from City supporters has been high with more than half of the Devon team's 20,000 seat allocation already gone.
