Air accident investigators are at the scene after two men died when a light aircraft crashed into a field on Thursday evening.
The plane crashed in Brimslade near Marlborough at around 6.30pm.
The Air Accident Investigation Branch have confirmed that the aircraft was a two-seater Diamond Super Dimona.
The Air Accident Investigation Branch teams are likely to be at the scene for the next two or three days before the wreckage is removed and transported to their hangar at Farnborough in Hampshire for further examination.
They will be looking at the plane's history and also any digital records, e.g. any applications the pilot may have used.
It could take a year before any official report into the crash is published.
