A woman has been charged in connection with a road crash in Blandford, Dorset that led to her three-year-old daughter's death.
The 34-year-old woman from Shaftesbury has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and causing death by careless driving while over the prescribed alcohol limit.
Police were called on Thursday 24 August after a white Ford Transit van and a silver Vauxhall Astra crashed into each other on the A354.
The woman, who was driving the Astra, sustained a serious head injury, and was flown by air ambulance to hospital, along with her three-year-old daughter who died the next day.
The 44-year-old driver of the van, from Wiltshire, has since been released from hospital.
