3,200 runners took part in this year's Plymouth 10K, making it the largest attendance in the event's history.

The distance-run is in its third year under 'Run Plymouth', with organisers now claiming it is one of the largest events of its kind in the South West.

We've been doing this for the last three years but it has been running for around six or seven years.

This is by far the biggest we have seen, now we are on the map of one of the big city 10Ks throughout the United Kingdom.

Those taking part were cheered on by thousands of spectators who had lined the streets around Plymouth City Centre.
