Toddler falls from first floor flat in Plymouth

An 18-month-old child is being treated in hospital after falling from a first floor flat window in Plymouth.

A spokesperson from South Western Ambulance Service said its crews were called to Halfpenny Court in Stonehouse just after 12.30 pm yesterday, Tuesday 24 October.

They sent two ambulances to the scene and took the toddler to Derriford Hospital.

The toddler has now been transferred to Bristol Children's Hospital.
