As October draws to a close and Halloween awaits us we finally get temperatures more suited to the time of year. All month we have experienced temperatures, both during the day and at night, well above the average.
This morning though it felt much colder and with some rather spooky mist lingering in the valleys it was almost perfect haunting weather...only a couple more days to go before I can travel on my broomstick again!
High pressure will dominate the weather for the rest of the weekend and although a cheeky cold front will push in tonight to bring more cloud and a touch of drizzle; it will be generally dry with some nice sunshine on offer tomorrow afternoon.
Temperatures looks to be about average but a cool northerly airflow will take the edge off. Next week and by Tuesday a milder southwesterly airflow will takeover allowing slightly milder air to move in. For now though enjoy the extra hour in bed tomorrow.
