The demolition of Exeter City's historic grandstand is now underway.

The stand at the club's St James' Park stadium dates back to 1926.

A £3.5m project to develop the ground is currently on target and due to be completed next summer.

Exeter City fans have been celebrating on the grandstand for more than 90 years.

Contractors have begun removing asbestos panels as demolition work gets underway following years of delays and complex negotiations.
