The League Two match between Exeter City and Forest Green Rovers has been abandoned because of a waterlogged pitch.

The game was called off by referee Brett Huxtable for safety reasons with the score at 0-0.

Exeter manager Paul Tisdale says it would be "hard to argue" with the referee's decision.

"I think he was primed for it himself before the game started, I think he was ready for it having seen the forecast.”

The match will be rescheduled for a later date.
