War medals and jewellery stolen in Tewkesbury burglary

Four military medals and several pieces of jewellery have been stolen from a property in Tewkesbury.

Between 9 December and 12 December the offenders gained entry to the property in Alderton and took items such as pendants, engagement rings, wedding rings and engraved watches.

The military medals were mounted onto a bar and include a British War Medal, Victory Medal, Territorial Force War Medal and a WW2 Defence Medal.

Other items stolen are:

  • A red ruby 22ct gold ring
  • 18ct gold engagement ring with mounted emeralds and diamonds
  • Gold three band Russian wedding ring (rose, white and gold)
  • 9ct gold sapphire flower cluster ring
  • cuff links
  • tie pins.

Gloucestershire Police are appealing for information and are asking anyone who has seen these items to contact the police by calling 101 or emailing, quoting incident 443 of 12 December.
