One of the last surviving spitfire pilots in the Battle of Britain has been sharing his memories of his career in the RAF.

Geoffrey Wellum joined up aged 17 and had an illustrious career.

He is now 96, living a quiet life in Mullion, Cornwall.

As the Royal Air Force prepares to celebrate its 100th anniversary on Easter Sunday, Geoffrey says he will never forget the men he fought alongside.
