People have rallied round after a wheelchair and walker belonging to a 9-year-old boy from Kingswood in South Gloucestershire were stolen.

Jaye Cook has cerebral palsy and cannot walk without his frame. He has taken up framed football and will no longer be able to do this. His mother says he will struggle to get around school without his wheelchair and frame.

The mobility aids were taken from outside his mother's house on Saturday, 31 March. The police have been informed.

His mother Mel is devastated and put out an appeal on her Facebook page for the thieves to return them.
