Somerset police officer who has brain cancer visits researchers trying to find a cure
A police officer from Bridgwater living with the most aggressive form of brain cancer, has been to visit researchers at the University of Plymouth who are trying to find a cure.
Jim Murray has served for Avon and Somerset Constabulary for nearly 20 years.
The cancer has led to a loss of vision meaning he can no longer drive or work on the frontline.
Jim Murray is taking part in a charity event, Canoeing for a Cure, to raise enough money to fund a day's research into brain tumours.
