Britain has been basking in the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures forecast to remain high into the weekend.
This morning's cloud disappeared to reveal glorious sunshine for most in the West Country, reaching 20C in Bude in North Cornwall.
Elsewhere in Plymouth, temperatures reached as high as 21.2C.
The arrival of spring sunshine should be treated with caution following the cold start to the season, according to Oli Claydon from the Met Office.
“The sun at this time of year is nearly equally as strong as it can be in the summer so people just need to be cautious of that and make sure that they do look after themselves.”
Sun worshippers are being advised to make the most of the warm weather which is set to continue up to the weekend.
Plenty of sunshine and light winds are on the cards for tomorrow, Friday and Saturday will be sunny and very warm, with cooler weather along coasts.
