A man has been airlifted to hospital after falling 30 feet off a cliff near Land’s End this afternoon, Thursday 3 May.

The coastguard were on the scene when the air ambulance arrived and they winched air ambulance paramedics down to the man.

The HM Coastguard received multiple 999 calls reporting that a man had fallen at Botallack

Land’s End and Penzance coastguard rescue team, HM Coastguard search and rescue helicopter based at Newquay and Sennen Cove RNLI Lifeboats were sent to the scene, alongside the South West Ambulance Service and a Helimed.
