A367: School children freed from minibus after crash between Bath and Radstock

Four school children had to be freed from a minibus after it hit a tree.

The teenagers were all taken to hospital, along with the bus driver, but none suffered life threatening injuries.

The driver was taken to Southmead Hospital, while four teenage patients were treated at the scene.

Avon and Somerset Police say they were called at around 3:20pm to a crash on the A367 in Dunkerton.

A total of four ambulances, plus the Wiltshire and Great Western Air Ambulances attended, although the helicopters weren't used.

Police were called just after 3.20pm to a report of a crash on the A367 at Dunkerton between the Odd Down roundabout and the turning for Camerton.

Avon and Somerset Police

Bath and North East Somerset Council say one lane is blocked and the road is closed.

Delays are expected - drivers are being asked to avoid the area if possible.
