Four-year-old Gerry - one of three giraffe at Bristol's Wild Place Project - has sadly died.
Gerry suffered from a rare blood condition which was diagnosed last year.
The condition - Thrombocytopaenia - meant that his blood was unable to clot due to a lack of platelets.
Gerry had been responding well to treatment since his diagnosis, but in recent weeks his health deteriorated.
He arrived at Bristol's Wild Place Project in May 2017 along with two other Giraffe, Dayo and Tom.
Staff at the Project have described Gerry as a 'gentle giant' who 'enchanted everyone who met him'.
