Fire fighters in Devon have rescued a cow who was trapped on the edge of a cliff for more than a week.
Rescue services say they received a call from farmer Fred Ansell saying one of his cattle was on the end of a cliff at Start Point.
The Devon Red Ruby, nicknamed Rocky, was stunned by a vet before being moved by the rescue team to an RSPCA boat that had its engine removed to accommodate the unusual load.
To get Rocky to the boat, the crew lifted the cow down twenty meters using mats.
The boat was then towed by the RNLI back to Hallsands.
When the crew arrived back to dry land a tractor and trailer was waiting to take the cow back to safety.
Rocky has now been handed back to Mr Ansell.
