A woman from Amesbury has completed her first skydive since surviving plunging 4,000ft after her husband sabotaged her parachute.

Victoria Cilliers - an experienced skydiving instructor - suffered near fatal injuries after both her main and reserve parachutes failed during a jump at Netheravon airfield in 2015.

Yesterday she dived again, raising money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

Ex-Army sergeant Emile Cilliers was jailed for at least 18 years for attempting to murder his wife by tampering with her parachute, and also sabotaging a gas valve at their home in a separate incident.
