Life-size pink elephant stolen from care home

A life-size model of an Indian elephant has been stolen from a day care centre in Devon.

The eight-foot pink model - nicknamed Elizabeth - took around six months to make.

It's thought she went missing sometime on Thursday night from the Made-Well centre in Hatherleigh.

The theft has the centre's clients, many of which have mental health and learning disabilities, "very upset".

The elephant took around 6months to create and is very lifelike. We just want it returned.
