A 20-year-old man who was murdered in Bridgwater has been named by police.

Tyrone Mulinde from London was found at 12.30pm on Saturday 20 October after being seriously assaulted in George Street. He died at the scene.

An 18-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.

A 21-year-old man was also arrested but has since been released under investigation along with a second man, aged 46, who was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

Dampiet House and the adjoining car park remains cordoned off while police carry out their investigation.
