CCTV images released of two men in connection with Swindon assault

CCTV images have been released of two people Wilshire Police are looking to speak to in connection with an assault that left a man in Swindon with a broken collarbone.

The man in his 50s had been walking under Transfer Bridges when he was jumped on by one of the men.

Police say the men later apologised to him, saying it was a case of mistaken identity and that they had not meant to hurt him.

The attack happened late around 1.15am on Sunday, 2 December.

The victim has told us that the two men apologised to him and said it was a case of mistaken identity and they had not meant to hurt him.

However, he has been left with a substantial injury and we need to speak to the two men pictured in the CCTV footage to establish exactly what happened."
